Exposed plates, bridge washers, hidden steel, and timber plugs. Hardware coordinated with the project’s structural requirements—not added as an afterthought.

The reason for all that coordination

It should feel like
it belongs there.

From a sheltered entry to the room everyone gathers in. Built around the home, not the other way around.

the deliverable.
The fit is.

01 / Coordinate

Start with the details.

Span. Pitch. Bearing elevations. Timber sizes. Steel connections. Project-specific shop drawings bring the architectural and structural requirements together before cutting begins.

The coordinated perspective places all seven trusses in the same system. Your team can review the rhythm, geometry, and timber-and-steel relationships before they arrive on site.

03 / Fabricate

Fit it here first.

Timber and custom hardware are fabricated, brought together for a shop dry fit, and labeled to match the drawings. Connections are checked while the assembly is still on our floor.

04 / Install

Give the crew a clear handoff.

Labeled components, matched hardware, assembly instructions, and support from the people who fabricated them. Your crew installs a package that has already been fitted together.

Before we talk

A few things
worth knowing.

Custom doesn’t have to mean unclear.

Is this a kit or a custom truss package?

Every package is made for an individual home. Geometry, timber, finish, joinery, and hardware are coordinated around the project’s plans and requirements. There are no stock models or preset kits.

Who handles structural engineering?

Structural design and stamping remain with the project’s engineer of record. Forged West coordinates the fabrication and shop drawings with the approved architectural and structural design. Whether the trusses are decorative or load-bearing, attachment and support requirements must be resolved for the project.

Do you ship nationwide? Is installation included?

Freight, assembly instructions, and customer support are included in the truss package. We ship nationwide for installation by your local crew. On-site installation is a separate scope and is available in the Mountain West, subject to project review.

What is the lead time?

Plan on a typical 6–8 weeks for fabrication after approved shop drawings and material release. Design coordination, approvals, material availability, and freight can affect the overall schedule. We confirm a project-specific timeline during the scope review.

What do you need to review a project?

Start with a call and send the current plans, project location, and desired installation date. We review the timber scope, materials, and schedule with you. For a qualified project with enough information, our target is a preliminary scope and budget within one week—not a final engineered drawing set.
