THE CHALLENGE

The vision for this home was deeply personal. The client wanted a space that would not only function as a modern residence, but also serve as a meaningful backdrop for a lifetime collection of antiques and artifacts.

Our Approach

Working alongside the architect and design team, we focused on honoring the philosophy of “simple gifts”, where craftsmanship, material honesty, and function work together seamlessly.

  • Sourcing reclaimed timbers rich with character and historic joinery
  • Designing custom timber trusses that reflect traditional mortise and tenon construction
  • Integrating barnwood and aged materials throughout the home for consistency
  • Collaborating closely with the design team to ensure every structural element supported the overall vision
